Give to LUMIERE

There's no escaping the fact that our events are big in scale, big in ambition, and big in spectacle. Our events are almost always free to enjoy and bring moments of joy and delight to the lives of thousands upon thousands of people around the UK and beyond. But we need your support to make them happen.

As a registered charity, Artichoke relies on Arts Council subsidy and other funding, project sponsors, trusts and foundations, and keen supporters who like what we do. We can't create our work without the support of any of them. The future of arts funding is uncertain, particularly over the next few years. We need all the help you can offer whilst we figure out a new philanthropic landscape. That's why we need you, too.

The money we receive through donations goes directly towards funding our projects like bringing LUMIERE back to Durham once again in 2013. There are a few options available for you to show your support:

1. JustGiving

You can make a one-off donation to Artichoke via our JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/artichoketrust where we can also claim Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. It's totally flexible and you can give as much or as little as you like; we won't mind either way!

2. Text a donation with JustTextGiving

JustGiving have teamed up with Vodafone to bring a whole new and easy way of donating to charities like Artichoke.

By texting LUMA13 followed by the amount you wish to give (i.e. LUMA13 £10) to 70070 you can donate quickly without filling in any forms or giving any card or bank details. The amount will get deducted from your mobile phone credit or will be added to your next phone bill; it's as simple as that.

3. Join the Artichoke Hearts scheme
