Are major events and arts festivals, especially light
festivals, environmentally damaging, or is it possible to make them
sustainable? Green Light is an open discussion
chaired by Professor Tim Burt, Durham University's Dean for
Environmental Sustainability, exploring the best ways to reduce
environmental impact of events like Lumiere, and presenting some
technological and behavioural options for ensuring a reduced carbon
future.
