Durham during 'Lumiere'
Well, Lumiere is now at an end. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold and the rain to see the festival. It was by all accounts a spectacular success: over 75,000 people visited the city during the festival, and restaurants, cafes and shops had some of the best business they've experienced in years. In fact, the whole event was so successful that Durham have invited Artichoke back to produce a biennial light festival.
Meanwhile, we'd love your feedback. The comments you've left on the website, on twitter and the emails we've received so far have been brilliant, but we've also got an online survey: if you have a few minutes it would be great if you could fill it in.
You may also have noticed that we've updated the website with photos of the event on the installation pages and in our Media section. Do take a look, or you can see visitors' photos at our Flickr group.
